The Habitat for Neighborhood Business has teamed with the Smurfit-Stone Center for Entrepreneurship of Saint Louis Universitys John Cook School of Business (SLU) to assist in the design and implementation of the program. Together with SLU, an alliance of supporters have been formed to provide the program leadership and administration for the Habitat.
Neighborhood lay, religious, and political leaders who validate and support the program
Saint Louis University's John Cook School of Business and its Entrepreneurship Center provide program development, candidate and executive volunteer recruiting and student resources.
The Small Business Development Corporation network of extension office provides the business training classes for program participants
An active board membership fills tactical needs of the program whether it be real estate development, loan acquisition, or retail operations
Volunteer executives from major businesses provide the practical experience to new business owners as they implement their business plans
Local suppliers of goods and services provide reduced costs for the Habitat program
